Our Rooms

The Öreg-tó Hotel*** and Event Center can accommodate 64 people at a time in five different room types – single room, standard twin room, superior twin room, standard double room, superior double room, a barrier-free triple room and apartment rooms - according to your needs. Some of the rooms open onto our beautiful, ancient tree-lined park, while the others also open onto a quiet little cul-de-sac in a green belt. The pleasant pastel colors contribute to the relaxing atmosphere. The ground floor of our hotel is barrier-free, where a barrier-free room has also been designed. All of our rooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, and the windows have shutters and mosquito nets.

The tourist tax is payable on site for our guests over 18 years of age (800.- HUF / person / night).

Cancellation conditions for large groups:

Cancellations must always be made in writing.

Cancellations must be made in writing and must be notified in advance.

From the 29th day before arrival to the 15th day after arrival: the deposit paid may be converted into a hotel voucher which may be used within 1 year of issue. For the issue of the voucher, a handling fee of HUF 5,000 will be deducted from the deposit paid. If the customer does not require a voucher, 50% of the deposit will be charged.

In case of cancellation from the 14th day before arrival until the day of arrival, the full amount of the deposit will be charged.

If the cancellation is made on the day of arrival, or if the guest arrives later than the confirmed stay or leaves earlier, the guest will be charged 100% of the confirmed amount for the whole period booked.

If the arrival is delayed due to force majeure on the part of either party, the other party cannot claim compensation.

Force Majeure: For the purposes of this contract, means any unforeseen and unavoidable circumstance beyond the control of both Parties and beyond their control, such as, but not limited to, war, riots, civil commotion, fire, severe weather conditions, other natural disasters (e.g. earthquake, etc.). Unavailability or disruption of transport to the place specified in the contract, power failure, any other natural disaster, loss of power, loss of life, loss of property, etc.

Unavailability or disruption of transportation to the contracted location, power outage, compliance with any government, government agency or local authority order, law, regulation, official strike, lockout or other labor dispute which prevents performance of this contract and/or any obligations hereunder.

Cancellation conditions are individual:

You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival. Cancellations within 7 days will be charged 50% of the total price, cancellations within 24 hours 100% of the total price, excluding tax
