Öreg-tó Hotel*** and Event Center  - rejuvenation in a beautiful environment under ancient trees

Located in Tata, situated just 2 minutes away from the shore of Öreg-tó (Old Lake) and spread across a two hectare area with ancient trees, Öreg-tó Hotel*** and Event Center welcomes its guests with excellent services.

Thanks to the different room types, our hotel is capable of accomodating up to 64 guests. The calming colors, our saunas (steam and infra red), large jakuzzi, solarium and our restaurant services all contribute to your best experience. The conference and event opportunities in our multiple award winning hotel are also worth considering.

There are 29 rooms (single, double and triple bedrooms) and 2 apartment rooms in the hotel.

Starting in summer 2020, our newly renovated Veranda Restaurant awaits its Customers with new, exciting and exquisite dishes. Its Mediterranean Garden offers the perfect location for events and family get-togethers.

Both our Hotel and Restaurant are dog-friendly, so we warmly welcome your four-legged friends as well!

From October 1st to March 31st only dogs under 15 kilograms are allowed to be brought to our hotel!

Payments for your four-legged friends if you choose to stay in our hotel:

Dog (under 12 kg): 4,900 HUF / night
Dog (above 12 kg) : 5,900 HUF / night

DOG - FRIENDLY HOTEL ETIQUETTE

Do not leave your dog alone in the room for long periods of time

during which it may show separation anxiety (barking, scratching at the door).

Before going on holiday together, check that your dog can be left alone in a strange place.

Please inform the hotel staff if your dog is resting in the room.

Letting your pet up on the bed is strictly FORBIDDEN!

If you let your dog on the bed, an extra cleaning fee will be charged.

If the dog/pets leaves its excrement in any area of the hotel, please clean it up or, if possible,

have these activities done outside the hotel.

The Owner shall be fully liable, financially, legally and morally, for any damage

caused by the animal in the hotel room and other areas.

A cage for your dog can be provided on request, at an extra charge.

Basic expectations for dogs arriving at the hotel

Not be aggressive towards people or other dogs.

Arrive at the hotel well groomed.

Be protected from vermin.

It must have the compulsory vaccinations required by the authorities

and the owner must be able to prove this.

Please bring your dog's vaccination book with you.

ATTENTION!

Due to the modification of the 2016 CLVI. decree about the public tasks for the development of touristical areas, applicable since January 1st 2021, accomodation providers are obligated to record and store guest information on dedicated servers appointed by the Hungarian government.

Starting on September 1st 2021 we may only admit guests who are able to prove their identity with any of the following documents:

Identity card

Driver’s licence

Passport

Please note that this decree is applicable on minors under the age of 18 as well (starting from age 0) so we advise you to check the expiration date of your documents.

Further information

Your documents will be inspected upon arrival, and will be scanned and recorded using a document scanner.

Without a valid form of identification we are obligated to deny your entry to our premises.
